Design Studio 2

This project reimagines the river not as a site of pollution, but as a space of collaboration and renewal. It introduces an urban aquaponic system with man-made ponds and low-impact farming that supports a self-sustaining cycle: fish nourish plants, and plants filter water. The site includes an aquaponic farm, fish market, and restaurant using fresh, on-site produce, fostering community and sustainability.

Rather than high-tech solutions, the focus is on natural processes, ecological balance, and social connection. It serves as a model for self-sufficient urban living—where local food systems, environmental care, and public engagement coexist. A restorative space where humans, fish, and plants thrive together in harmony with the land.
